Tuscan Shrimp Linguini


A pasta dish is the easiest way to get a meal on the table quick and in a hurry. This Tuscan shrimp pasta dish is so very flavorful but most importantly so easy to make. I am a mom of a 5 year old little girl and during a busy work week I don't have time to make an elaborate meal. This is dish give her and my husband a homecooked meal but it doesn't take me hours to make. Ingredients Needed to Make Tuscan Shrimp Pasta


1 lb of peeled and deveined shrimp

1 box of linguine pasta

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Paprika to taste

Garlic Powder to taste

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 shallot, minced

1/4 cup of white cooking wine

1 cup of heavy cream

3-4 cups of spinach

1/4 cup of sun dried tomatoes

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese


Directions to Make Tuscan Shrimp Pasta

  1. In a large pot, boil linguine pasta until al dente. Once done set aside with 1/2 cup of pasta water.

  2. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder and and paprika to taste.

  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat and cook the shrimp until pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. Add minced garlic and shallot and cook until translucent.

  5. Deglaze the skillet with white cooking wine and add the sun dried tomatoes and heavy whipping cream. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Add spinach and cook until the spinach has wilted and then add the parmesan cheese.

  7. Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet and toss with the cooked linguini and pasta water.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
