Raspberry Cheesecake Stuffed Waffles

A few weeks ago I saw an advertisement for a Stuffed Waffle Maker on Facebook and I had to order it so I could make stuffed waffles for my family. We love making a big breakfast on the weekends which normally includes pancakes, french toast or waffles.

In order to make this recipe, you will need this Stuffed Waffle Maker. The waffle maker is made by Presto and makes sweet and savory stuffed waffles. You can use fresh fruit, pie fillings, candy, chocolate, cheese or meats to stuff your waffles.

I decided to make a sweet stuffed waffle with Spilling the Sweet Tea's Raspberry Preserve, cream cheese and fresh raspberries. It was delicious. I used a boxed waffle batter mix for this recipe but you can make your waffles from scratch.

Ingredients for Stuffed Raspberry Cheesecake Waffle

2 cups of pancake mix (I used Aunt Jemima)

1 egg

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 1/2 cup of milk

Vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/2 cup of whipped cream cheese

1/2 cup of Spilling the Sweet Tea raspberry preserves

Splash of Vanilla extract

Fresh Raspberries

Directions to make Stuffed Raspberry Cheesecake Waffles

  1. Make batter according to the box. Add vanilla and cinnamon for extra flavor.

  2. Preheat waffle maker for 10 mins.

  3. In a small bowl, add whipped cream cheese, raspberry preserves and vanilla extract. Mix well until completely combined.

  4. Add 1/3 cup of batter to the waffle maker.

  5. Add two to three tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture to the center of the waffle. Top with 5-6 fresh raspberries.

  6. Top with another 1/3 cup of waffle batter, close the lid of the waffle maker, flip and cook for about 7 minutes.

  7. Use the built in tongs to remove the stuffed waffle and transfer to a plate. Top with powdered sugar and whipped cream. Enjoy!
