Happy Cinco de Mayo from Spilling the Sweet Tea! If you are looking for an easy recipe to make for Cinco de Mayo, look no further! This dish is so flavorful and tasty and perfect for your Cinco de Maya fiesta! The star of this dish is a fried tostadas. You can find tostada shells in the grocery store but they taste way more authentic if you fry the corn tortillas yourself. I dried out the corn tortillas in the oven and baked them for about 5-7 mins on 350 degrees. It really helps make the tostadas extremely crispy once they are fried if you bake them for a bit first. Don’t skip this step because it is key to the crispness!
